Tickets for Rugby World Cup Sevens remain


– Cape Town There are still tickets left for this weekend’s Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town, so if you’re interested in attending a festival of Sevens rugby and the largest party of the year, you’re in luck.

The event, which will feature the top 40 Sevens nations in the world, including the Blitzboks and SA women’s Sevens squad, begins on Friday morning at 8.45am at Cape Town Stadium with the men’s match between Ireland and Portugal.

Tickets are available not only for that day, but also for the weekend, when the championship finals will be contested.

The Blitzboks will begin their quest to win the World Cup on Friday night at 7pm against Chile, while the women’s squad will have a difficult test against France at 6.35pm.

In a Monday news statement, Jurie Roux, the controversial CEO of SA Rugby, stated, “We’ve waited a long time to host a World Cup, and the time is nearly here.”

The previous several days have seen the arrival of all the teams, and the stage is now set for a spectacular event. We have spent a great deal of time preparing for the event, which will showcase South Africa and Cape Town at its finest.

“There are still tickets available for all days, including Saturday and Sunday, and I encourage all rugby fans to go as soon as possible to be a part of this momentous occasion.”

On Saturday and Sunday, play will begin at 8.15 a.m. and 8.30 a.m., respectively. On Sunday evening, the women’s championship final will begin at 8:17 p.m., followed by the men’s at 8:54 p.m.
