The eighth season of “Fear TWD,” which follows a whole different group of survivors who began their journey in California, is presently in production.

Morgan (Lennie James), Dwight (Austin Amelio), and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) from “The Walking Dead” appeared in the spin-off at separate times.

The series just reintroduced Kim Dickens after allegedly killing off the protagonist years earlier.

In 2021, “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” concluded its two-season run.

“The Walking Dead: World Beyond” was shown from October 2020 to December 2021.

The limited series, set a decade after the zombie apocalypse, offered additional information on the Civic Republic Military, the mystery group who abducted Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Jadis in season nine of “The Walking Dead” (Pollyanna McIntosh).

Previously, actor Nico Tortorella told Insider that “World Beyond” would serve as a bridge between the Rick Grimes movies and the upcoming series.

Though the episode never hinted at Rick’s whereabouts, McIntosh returned her role as Jadis as the head of the CRM in the show’s final season.

This may have been a subtle foreshadowing that the group will eventually face the huge army of the Commonwealth, which was introduced on “The Walking Dead.”

In August, the anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” aired.

In the third episode of “Tales of the Walking Dead,” fans learned how Alpha joined the Whisperers.

The first six episodes of the series focused on new and returning characters from the original “The Walking Dead” universe, notably Samantha Morton’s Alpha.

Terry Crews, Olivia Munn, Anthony Edwards (“Inventing Anna”), Parker Posey (“Lost In Space”), and Poppy Liu (“Dead Ringers”) participated in the series, which was directed by “The Walking Dead” and “Fear TWD” creator and executive producer Channing Powell.

Next year, an untitled Daryl series starring Norman Reedus will launch.

Daryl’s tale will continue when “The Walking Dead” concludes.

Originally, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) were to star in this program, with “The Walking Dead” showrunner Angela Kang planned to manage this spin-off.

AMC confirmed to Insider in April that Melissa McBride has left the planned spin-off, which will now be set in Europe and filmed there. According to AMC, Melissa’s relocation to Europe proved logistically impossible at this time.

Reedus informed viewers during the “The Walking Dead” Comic-Con event that Carol and Daryl’s story is not done. With the series’ relocation overseas, Kang is no longer associated with the drama. Kang revealed to Insider at the San Diego Comic-Con that she is in the process of putting together a second significant project.

The series will chronicle Daryl’s unusual journey to Paris, France. During an appearance in October 2022 on “Reedus teased on Jimmy Kimmel Live! : “I’m going to be put there. I don’t voluntarily go there.”

“We will destroy the Louvre and other things. It’s going to be wild “Reedus said about the renowned art gallery.

Next year, Michonne and Rick will return to the “The Walking Dead” universe in a new show.

On “The Walking Dead,” fans will finally witness the continuation of the best love story.

AMC

Friday at San Diego Comic-Con, Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira stunned fans by announcing their return to the universe. The actors left the series during the ninth and tenth seasons, respectively.

“There will be six episodes on AMC+ in 2023,” Lincoln announced at SDCC on the impending Rick and Michonne series.

Originally, Rick’s journey was to continue in a trilogy of “The Walking Dead” films, however this is no longer the case.

According to a press release, the Michonne and Rick series would “open with six episodes,” suggesting that it may not be a limited series.

Lincoln and Gurira will serve as executive producers, with Scott M. Gimple serving as showrunner.
