The US is planning blacklisting sanctions against companies that are Russia’s partners

The US intends to impose penalties on firms who cooperate with Russia.

According to a statement on the White House website, companies that help Moscow will be prohibited from purchasing American products and technologies, which, among other things, will restrict access to such strategically significant commodities as semiconductors.

The US will deny corporations supporting Russia access to its technologies.

Additionally, according to the source, US agencies are preparing blocking measures on people linked to Russia’s efforts to work under current limits.

Washington will also request assistance from financial institutions in the investigation of any export control offenses.

The announced actions are scheduled to coincide with the G7 leaders’ conference, which will be held in Germany; US Vice President Joe Biden plans to meet with them as well as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The White House document states that the nations want to keep trying to impose limitations on Russia.

To achieve a tightening of our economic sanctions against Russia, the G7 will release a statement in support of Ukraine that includes fresh promises about sanctions.
