The UAE sympathies with families of the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in the Somali City of Jowhar

The terrorist attack on a hotel in the southern Somalian city of Jowhar, which resulted in several casualties, including government officials, and significant damage to neighbouring structures and businesses, has been strongly condemned by the UAE.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the UAE strongly denounces these violent crimes and vehemently opposes all acts of terrorism and violence that aim to undermine security and stability and go against basic human values.

The Ministry sent its deepest sympathies and condolences to the Federal Republic of Somalia’s government and people as well as to the families of the victims of this horrific crime. It also wished the injured a quick recovery.
