The Pretoria version of “DIE REAL HOUSEWIVES”

A Pretoria-based Afrikaans Real Housewives franchise appears to be coming to Mzansi after stops in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.

A user who reported Die Real Housewives van Pretoria was included in the DStv roster of new programming on Twitter was met with a variety of responses from other users.

Some of DStv’s biggest networks gathered for an M-Net Showcase on Wednesday, July 27, where they discussed their forthcoming programmes.

Anele Mdoda, a radio broadcaster on 947, served as the event’s host.

A Real Housewives Afrikaans version will be heading to Mzansi’s small screen, but not much is known about the new title, according to @SbohSibisi on Twitter.

The series, named Die Realhousewives van Pretoria, would be based in Pretoria, according to the tweet.

South African “REAL HOUSEWIVES”

Following the popularity of Johannesburg and Cape Town, Real Housewives of Cape Town is the newest Real Housewives franchise in South Africa.

The franchise intends to grow and has already been to Lagos, Nigeria.

There will undoubtedly be more, according to Multichoice’s Channel Director of Local Entertainment, Nomsa Philso, who spoke with Glamour in April 2021.
