The majority of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine have been slain, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Hundreds of foreign mercenaries were killed by Russian forces in Ukraine. Major General Igor Konashenkov, an official spokesman for the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Defense, stated the mercenaries were killed in attacks using long-range precision weapons immediately after their arrival in the country.

“Russian long-range precision weaponry destroyed hundreds of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine immediately after their arrival at locations where they underwent extra training and coordinated tactical units,” Konashenkov added.

Due to their lack of training and fighting experience, the majority of the mercenaries were destroyed in conflict zones.

As Konashenkov clarified, Ukrainian commanders do not spare mercenaries’ lives in order to reduce losses of their own military.

“The captured mercenaries say during interrogations that they would be sacrificed in the first place. Their relatives have no knowledge about their deaths as the Kiev regime does not announce its losses,” he added.
