The Hochsteins’ divorce caused ‘RHOM’ actors to reconsider their own relationships

As Lisa and Lenny Hochstein’s marriage disintegrated before their eyes, the cast of “Real Housewives of Miami” examined their own unions more closely.

Guerdy Abraira tells Page Six exclusively, “It shook me.” “And this is where my personal narrative with my own husband concludes. “OK, if something can happen so quickly and unexpectedly, am I safe at home?”

After Lisa, age 40, disclosed that Lenny, age 56, intended to divorce her and had moved on with Katharina Mazepa, age 27, Guerdy, age 44, felt obligated to ask Russell Abraira, her husband, whether all was well in their marriage.

“You believe you have it all, but then you wonder, ‘Wait, are we okay?’ Seriously, are we all right? “He asked me, ‘Are there any concerns I don’t know about, any blind spots for me?’” the event organizer recalls, recounting their chat.

“This gentleman talks the talk and… I didn’t sure how he would react if I asked him, “Are we okay?” I anticipated that he would shrug it off and respond, “Whatever.” No, he responds with “About that” And he gives it to me,” she explains.

Therefore, we experience our own relationship challenges.

Guerdy insists that the experience of discussing their issues in front of a television crew helped the Abrairas become “1,000%” stronger as a couple. The high school sweethearts have been in a relationship for 27 years, have been married for 20 years, and have two small sons.

“I’m grateful for the candor that [Russell] was able to share with me and everyone… just a few areas where we could improve as a pair. Thus, it was beneficial for us,” she explains. Actually, it was rather therapeutic as well.

Alexia Echevarria, who tied the wedding with Todd Nepola in December 2021, admits that the Hochsteins’ downfall has made her anxious.

The 55-year-old reality personality, who navigated a divorce from her estranged spouse Herman Echevarria before his death in 2016 at the age of 61, says she voiced her worries directly to Nepola, 52.

“I returned home and said, ‘Oh my God!’ You kind of, like, start even doubting … She elaborates, “So I’m thinking, ‘OK, now maybe I should start monitoring your phone or maybe I should start doing this.’” “And Todd responds, ‘Wait a minute!’” It affected me significantly.”

According to Alexia, other “Miami” ladies were affected by Lisa and Lenny’s breakup, including Dr. Nicole Martin, Larsa Pippen, Julia Lemigova, and “friends of” the cast Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth.

“When Lisa revealed this news with us, it had a profound effect on us, and we all began evaluating our own relationships and everything that was going on with her,” she explains. “As a woman, you are aware, but we don’t always want to see it.”

Alexia argues that she and her businessman husband are currently in a “wonderful place” despite the Hochsteins’ maelstrom of concern.

“Thank God, my relationship and marriage are in such a terrific position,” she tells Page Six. However, I believe that we all learned from Lisa and Lisa’s experience.

Lenny filed for divorce from Lisa in May, following a 12-year marriage. The exes share two children: Logan, age 7, and Elle, age 3.

The renowned plastic surgeon appeared to have begun dating Mazepa while he was still married to Lisa, but the self-proclaimed “boob god” has always insisted that there was no overlap.

Lenny and Lisa have continued to hurl charges against one another since their breakup. While Lisa claimed she cannot afford diapers after Lenny cut her off financially, the plastic surgeon accused his ex of spending $9,000 on fancy products.

Mazepa has also made accusations against Lisa, stating that she admitted in court to creating phony Instagram accounts to harass him. (Lisa rejected the assertion.)

Lisa mentioned in an interview with Page Six’s Danny Murphy for the “Virtual Real-Tea” podcast that Mazepa’s arguments failed in court, as the judge dismissed her restraining order.

“The judge ruled against this. “This judge is quite credible,” she stated. “And it was similar to a three-day trial, in that she listened to all the evidence and dismissed it as absurd. Therefore, that is all I have to say about it.”

Lisa further said that Mazepa’s involvement in her divorce procedures has only increased to the conflict.

She remarked, “I’ve never witnessed so much involvement from a third party in a divorce.” “Like, I feel like I’m divorcing two people, and it’s terrible, and I’m just doing my best. And it is nothing but noise.”

Season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Miami” can be streamed on Peacock. New episodes are released every Thursday.
