The federal government directs that the admission process into the Unity Colleges must adhere to the principle of fairness, equity and merit

The federal government mandated on Monday that the 110 Unity Colleges across the nation’s admissions process comply to the principles of fairness, equity, and merit.

This directive was given by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, to the Federal Government College Principals who had gathered in Benin City, Edo State, to begin the 2022 admission process.

The Minister highlighted that every region of the nation must feel a feeling of belonging in the admissions process in a message to the group of principals in charge of the exercise. He also added that the procedure must represent the ideals of the country’s founding fathers of the unity colleges.

At the inaugural ceremony, Hajia Binta Abdulkabir, Director of Senior Secondary Education, delivered a statement from the minister.
