A Texas father at the center of a bitter, decades-long gender transition dispute alleges that his ex-wife went to California with the intention of chemically castrating his 9-year-old son, James, who identifies as the female name “Luna.”

Jeff Younger, a dad-of-two who unsuccessfully campaigned for the Texas state house running on an anti-trans platform, went on Tucker Carlson Tonight Thursday and provided a video that purports to show his son identifying himself as a female.

In the recording, nine-year-old James is asked if he is a boy, to which he replies, “No, I’m a girl.”

The elementary student claims his mother, pediatrician Dr. Anne Georgulas, told him he was a female and dressed him accordingly.

“When I realized what she had planned for that boy, my blood froze,” Younger told Carlson.

Jeff Younger, left, fears that his ex-wife intends to chemically castrate his 9-year-old transgender son, James.

According to the father from Texas, his ex-spouse, Dr. Anne Georgulas, has relocated to California with their children to take advantage of the state’s new “trans refuge” statute.

Younger asserted that his ex-wife transported his son and the boy’s twin brother to California days before the state’s “trans refuge” law took effect on January 1st.

The measure is aimed to safeguard transgender children and their families “if they’re being criminalized in their home states,” Democratic State Sen. Scott Wiener, who sponsored the bill, tweeted after California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed it.

Younger claims that his ex began “transitioning” James at the age of two and attempted to enroll him in a gender clinic in Dallas at the age of five.

“Pediatrician records show that she intended to chemically castrate him at age eight or nine, his current age,” Younger stated. “And then he moves to California by magic? I don’t believe this is a coincidence.”

No pediatrician records were provided by Younger.

Chemical castration is the use of chemicals or medications to inhibit the production of sex hormones. Chemical castration, unlike surgical castration, does not involve organ removal and is not a kind of sterilization. Moreover, it is reversible.

In the meantime, Georgulas has maintained that James is transsexual, wants to wear dresses, and prefers to be called “Luna.”

A gender therapist who evaluated James suggested that he begin transitioning by wearing dresses and using the name “Luna” after his mother reported that he requested a “girl’s toy” and wanted to be a “Frozen” female character.

The parents had been embroiled in a custody dispute for years, with the father alleging that his ex-wife is intent on having their kid, who is depicted in a dress, transition to a female.

However, Younger argues that his son inherited these characteristics from his mother.

Younger also claimed that school staff at his son’s former California school conspired with his ex-wife to assist in the covert transition of the child.

“I would send my son to school dressed as a boy, and they would give him a dress and force him to use the girls’ restroom,” he told Carlson.

It is unknown where his son attended school or if the school issued a statement on the claims.

In 2019, a judge in Dallas determined that James Younger and his twin brother Jude will remain in the shared custody of their parents. However, in August 2021, a different judge granted Georgulas sole custody of the children.

The Texas Supreme Court denied Younger’s plea to require Georgulas to return their children to Texas.

The Texan reported that a subsequent court ruling stipulated that “neither parent may treat a child with hormonal suppression therapy, puberty blockers, and/or transgender reassignment surgery (if any) without parental consent or court order.”

Younger is now persuaded, however, that his ex-wife uprooted their children and relocated to California to evade the court order.

Senate Bill 107 of Florida “prohibits the enforcement of an order based on another state’s law authorizing the removal of a child from their parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or mental health care.”

Younger had petitioned the Texas Supreme Court to order Georgulas to return their sons to Texas prior to the implementation of California’s new “trans sanctuary” statute, but his motion was refused on New Year’s Eve.

In a vote of 8-1, the panel determined that Younger’s appeal was unwarranted.

Justices Jimmy Blacklock and Evan Young wrote in a concurring opinion that Younger misinterpreted California law.

The opinion states, “Father misinterprets the new California law.”

The ruling states, “A court order allocating parental rights of divorced parents based on case-specific judicial findings regarding the best interests of their children is in no way ‘a law of another state.’”

The court subsequently declare Younger’s appeal to be “speculative.”

In any case, “concern that any of this will occur would be purely speculative,” they added.

“In this case, given Mother’s representations to both this Court and the district court that she has no intention of pursuing this course of action, it is not merely speculative but potentially prohibited by principles of estoppel,” the court wrote.

The child has been dressing up and going by the name “Luna,” but Younger believes his ex-wife is to blame.

However, the justices wrote that Younger “could seek immediate appellate relief” if Georgulas attempts to have their son undergo gender transformation without her ex-approval. husband’s

Younger responded by tweeting that the state supreme court effectively revoked his parental rights and cleared the path for the chemical castration of his child in California.

The father raged, “Texas is an empire of child abuse ruled by Texas judges.”

During his interview with Carlson, the father attacked the justices even further for siding with his ex-wife.

“They arbitrarily conclude that my wife is no more likely to transition my son in California under the sanctuary laws than she would be in Texas, and they arbitrarily assert that we can enforce an injunction against her in California,” he added.

Several conservative heavyweights, like Texas Attorney General Bill Paxton and Senator Ted Cruz, who both supported Younger, have expressed interest in the contentious custody dispute.

Cruz tweeted in 2019 that a 7-year-old is not mature enough to make such significant decisions.

The state of Texas should preserve this child’s freedom to choose — as an informed, mature individual — and not use him or her as a political pawn for the left.
