Terry Bradshaw is determined to perform until his dying breath in Phoenix.
Literally.
The 74-year-old Bradshaw told reporters at the Fox Sports media day in anticipation of their Super Bowl 2023 broadcast that he was willing to die on the program.
“I told Fox that if I were to die on the show, they should consider the ratings, right? Isn’t it about ratings? That would be enormous,” he remarked. Not only that, but it would be a massive carryover. All networks would report that Bradshaw passed away during the Fox NFL show. Can you imagine the enormous items? And perhaps I’ll get a massive statue in front.”
Bradshaw was communicating in jest, but there was some truth to the notion that he does not wish to withdraw.

Bradshaw stated, “If I can maintain my health, I want to continue because I enjoy my work.” “But we all get old. Everyone is kicked out. “I’m not looking behind me, but [Tom] Brady is approaching.”
Before being declared cancer-free, Bradshaw disclosed in October that he had previously fought bladder and skin cancer.
Tuesday, The Post inquired about his current health situation.
“I’m good,” he said. Monday I just left the hospital. I received a second treatment. Got no sleep. I awoke at 1:00 a.m., traveled to New York, and arrived here. I’m a bit exhausted today, but I’m fine. Cancer-free.”
He reaffirmed that he had no plans to retire from broadcasting in the near future or ever.
He inquired, “What would occur with the studio?” Who would fill my shoes? That is never going to occur.”
