Terrifying final moments of a father celebrating the birth of his kid after being shot with an arrow

This is the moment when a man who was celebrating the birth of his son was fatally shot with a bow and arrow by a neighbor who was displeased with the noise he was making.

Javier Alfredo Miranda Romero, 41, was walking home with a group of friends after wetting the infant’s head at a local tavern.

As he stood and conversed outside his flat, however, 63-year-old Evaristo Scalco drew a bow and arrow and shot him with a steel-tipped flight that is often employed to kill wild boars.

Online video shows Javier clutching his stomach with the arrow obviously protruding from him as he staggers around in a pool of blood in a Genoa alleyway.

Scalco’s bare chest is visible in the first-floor window, and he is plainly holding the bow as he observes, oblivious that Javier has been severely wounded.

Witnesses claim that Scalco insulted Peruvian-born Javier with racial slurs before shooting him with a bow and arrow early on Wednesday morning.

Javier and his buddies had been observing the Champions League match between Liverpool and Napoli at a nearby tavern before returning home after a few beers.

In one distressing video, Javier can be seen crying and speaking on his cell phone while holding an arrow and moaning, “Son of a b****.” What the hell did you do to me? My God.’

Scalco can be heard shouting, “Do you require assistance?”

A neighbor then approaches and inquires, “What happened?

Javier responds, “He shot me with an arrow.”

Scalco, realizing the gravity of the situation, runs down and, in other videos, can be seen bending over and attempting to stem the flow of blood as police attempt to hold back an angry mob of Javier’s friends.

Moments before, they had attempted to remove the arrow from his body, probably aggravating the injury, and he was eventually transported to a local hospital by paramedics.

Doctors battled to save his life after surgery discovered is liver had been pierced but despite trying to find him a possible donor there was nothing that could be done and he died from his injuries on Wednesday.

In July, Javier posted a photo of the ultrasound of his unborn child to his Facebook page along with the following message: ‘And very soon you will be with us, my little Gustavo Giuseppe. You will be our blessing, the pride of your mother and father.’

Scalco, who worked as a laborer at the local marina, told police that he had just returned from a job in Malta and was exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but the noise prevented him from doing so.

He said, “I looked out and noticed a group of people urinating; I yelled at them, but they ignored me; I drew my bow and fired, although I had no intention of killing anyone.”

The local prosecutor, Nicola Piacente, has begun an investigation after officers entered his residence and recovered approximately sixty arrows and three bows.

A representative from the Peruvian consulate stated that Javier had resided in Italy for the past 26 years and that officials were in contact with his family.

Scalco was detained Sunday night in a local jail on charges of murder and aggravated racism.
