Following a nighttime stabbing at a residence in northern New South Wales, a teenage boy died.

Around 1.20am on Saturday, emergency personnel were summoned to a residence on McDougall Street in Casino following reports of a stabbing.

At the residence, police discovered a 17-year-old kid with stab wounds.

Police and paramedics from NSW Ambulance attended to him, however he passed away there and then.

The youngster hasn’t been officially identified yet.
