Tristian was born just two weeks before his mother died and will never meet her.
‘Instead of waking up to their mother’s loving hug, her poor children were confronted with the horrific news that they would never see their mother again,’ wrote family friend Rend Nashi on the family’s GoFundMe page.
‘Andrea and Daniel have been in love since they were 15 years old, and he is now faced with life without her.’
‘Our hearts have been destroyed.’
This week, Daniel resorted to Twitter to beg his followers to offer love to their family and friends.
‘I’m just going to answer everything in one post. ‘My partner of 16 years, the mother of our five children, died this morning,’ he wrote.
‘I’ll be gone for a while, take care of yourselves, and tell the people you love that you love them.’
Ayman Khamas, a family friend, posted on Facebook about a “friend of over 20 years who (died) barely two weeks after giving birth, leaving behind a spouse and five children, including the new born baby who will not grow to know his mother.”
Mr Khamas requested that people donate to the family via the GoFundMe campaign.
‘Money can never return a lovely mother and a loving wife back to her family,’ he said, ‘but it will undoubtedly assist in not only covering the funeral expenditures but also providing for the family.’
Mr Khamas stated that the family would want assistance “until such time as the father can return to work once the newborn is mature enough to go to childcare.”
‘It is also crucial to guarantee that the children have everything they need to complete their schooling and education so that they do not go down the wrong route in life,’ he continued, thanking everyone who was able to donate.
Ms Marambio and her husband were both avid soccer enthusiasts, and she was a member of the Southern District Raiders club in Moorebank, a west Sydney suburb.
‘It is with profound sadness that we learn of Andrea Marambio’s untimely death. ‘(She) was a member of the San Diego Raiders family for five years,’ the club said in a statement.
‘Our deepest sympathies to Daniel and his family on your loss… Everyone will miss her terribly.’
All donations to the family’s GoFundMe page will go toward funeral expenses and the children’s immediate needs as they begin to rebuild their lives.
The campaign for Ms Marambio’s family has garnered more than $43,000 as of Monday afternoon.
