SuperSport United signs a Senegalese center forward!

After an outstanding trial, SuperSport United have officially announced the signing of Senegalese attacker Serigne Mamour Niang.

According to Matsatsantsa, Niang has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract, therefore he will remain with the club for the upcoming season.

This transfer window, the acquisition of Niang could allow Thamsanqa Gabuza to depart SuperSport United for Stellenbosch FC.

The South African publication said that Gabuza had agreed to personal terms with Stellies, but SuperSport United wanted to keep him until they could find a suitable successor.

The possibility of Gabuza joining Stellies was reported less than a week after Kaizer Chiefs signed Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United on a pre-contract.
