According to sources, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss left a suicide note at a motel alluding to difficulties he encountered in the past and put his phone to airplane mode before shooting himself.
TMZ stated that a cryptic letter was left at the scene of the 40-year-suicide, old’s which occurred less than a mile from his residence.
Monday at 10:30 a.m., Boss, a longtime executive producer for the Ellen DeGeneres show, checked into the Oak Tree Inn in Encino.
The next day, when he forgot to check out, he was discovered dead in the room’s bathroom.

Allison Holker, Boss’ wife of nine years, contacted Los Angeles police on Tuesday to report him missing, stating that he had departed without a word the previous day and was not responding her calls, according to TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources.
Holker stated that there had been no argument or conflict preceding his departure, which occurred just three days after the couple’s wedding anniversary, and that his lack of communication was exceedingly out of character.
Police accompanied Holker back to the family home for a brief search for any evidence regarding his absence; however, shortly thereafter, a 911 call was received from a nearby motel, where a housekeeper discovered Boss shot to death.
Thursday, when contacted by DailyMail.com, an LAPD spokesperson declined to comment.
Three children were shared by Boss, 40, and Holker, 34: Zaia, 3, Maddox Laurel, 6, and Weslie Renae, 14, who was born in Alison’s previous relationship but adopted by Stephen.
She eulogized him in a moving speech on Wednesday, announcing that she would “reserve the last dance” for him, before greeting grieving family members to their Encino home.
Boss checked into room 249 at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino at approximately 10.30 a.m. on Monday and was discovered dead in the room’s bathroom the following day after failing to check out.
Rakesh, the hotel’s manager, stated, “He entered his room and never left.”
Tuesday at 11:15 a.m., the maid opened the door to inspect the room. There was his property inside, but no one else. She investigated the restroom and discovered blood everywhere.
She was terrified. This is the first time something like has occurred in this location.
“We dialed 911 and were instructed to check his pulse, but there was none.” The police and paramedics arrived and reported that guy was deceased.
After the shooting, a manager informed DailyMail.com that the restroom was “soaked in blood.”

Monday at 9:20 a.m., the boss called ahead to inquire about room availability, then walked the few blocks from his residence. Rakesh reported that he appeared “totally normal” and “calm.”
“There was no reaction when we knocked on the door,” Rakesh stated. The maid opened the door to find his belongings still in the room.
Another staff member corroborated that Boss shot himself in the head, and the manager added that it occurred in the bathroom.
According to reports, he checked into the motel under his own name on Monday and was not discovered until Tuesday morning.
From 2014 through 2022, he worked on Ellen’s show, and in 2020 he was promoted to executive producer.
Jennifer Lopez, Questlove, and Michelle Obama were among the notable individuals who paid tribute to Boss, a respected dancer and DJ.
DeGeneres described him as her ‘family’ and ‘pure love and light,’ adding that she was devastated.
