Whistleblower and author Mosilo Mothepu says she feels the 4th State Capture report has vindicated her.
The Commission of Inquiry into State Capture handed over the report to the Presidency on Friday.
It details alleged corruption and fraud in the public sector including organs of state as well as unsuccessful attempts to capture the national treasury.
According to the report, former President Jacob Zuma and then former Minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson and then Eskom board chairperson irregularly approved certain deals.

The Gupta-aligned firms Trillian and Regiments Capital had employed Mothepu during the state capture years.
Mothepu had told the commission that her former boss and then CEO of Trillian Eric Wood, told her that former Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene would be fired, because he did not agree with Regiments Capital’s proposal.
Mothepu says she has no regrets regardless of the high personal cost.
“The revolution now is not in the tranches. It is now facing a CEO, a chairperson wearing an Armani suit asking you to sign an unlawful contract. So, I say I would do it again, a trillion times, irrespective of the cost financially, you know. I was unemployed for two years, you know, that I had a legal bill of R1.3 million. I had non criminal charges. I still have mental issues with regards to depression and insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but I will never ever regret making that decision.”
