Suitably qualified candidates are invited to submit application forms for admission into the St. Gerard’s Hospital BASIC GENERAL NURSING, POST BASIC NURSING, and BASIC MIDWIFERY TRAINING programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.
St. Gerard’s School of Nursing Admission Entry Requirements
- Candidates must have acquired a minimum of five (5) credits in English language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or GCE to be eligible for admission.
- Applicants for the Post-Basic Nursing programme must have completed Basic Midwifery and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, as well as hold a qualified licence to practise.
How to Apply for St. Gerard’s School of Nursing Admission Form
To apply for Basic Nursing and Midwifery or Post-Basic Nursing at St. Gerard’s Catholic Hospital, interested individuals must first obtain an application form. These forms can be obtained from the School Account’s Office, but only upon presentation of a teller indicating payment of a non-refundable fee. For Basic Nursing and Midwifery, the fee is N10,000:00 ONLY, while for Post-Basic Nursing, it is N15,000:00 only. The fee must be paid into the following account:

It is important to note that completed application forms must be submitted to the school examination office on or before March 22, 2023.
The date of examination for applicants is March 21, 2023, and the date of the interview is March 22-24, 2023. The venue for both the examination and interview is the College of Nursing Sciences Hall at St. Gerard’s Catholic Hospital in Kaduna. It is also important to arrive on time, as the interview will start promptly at 7:30 am.
