SP launches ‘Future Readiness 2022’ award to improve life

SHARJAH, 4th August, 2022 (WAM) — Sharjah Police launched the “Future Readiness 2022” award, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

The award aims to improve the quality of life by presenting conceptual studies to meet future challenges.

Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director-General of the Sharjah Police Academy, confirmed that the submission of studies participating in the Future Readiness Award 2022 is open now. The award is a prospective study that is different from other studies in that it is based on various research and strategic standards to positively confront challenges in the future and contribute to improving the quality of life.

Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Brigadier General Al Othmani said that the award covers several important topics, including the future of transportation, cybersecurity, drug abuse and combating and rehabilitation of drug users, correctional and penal institutions and rehabilitation of inmates, outsourcing or privatising government services, non-traditional crimes, and the future of work systems.
