Sory Kaba happy at Cardiff City after fulfilling his dream at the club

Cardiff City striker Sory Kaba has expressed his interest in returning to the Welsh capital for the 2023/24 campaign, following his “dream” of playing in the English Football League.

Kaba was signed on deadline day from Midtjylland in Denmark, as Cardiff aimed to improve their forward line.

The Guinea international has brought added physicality and bought into the club ethos, endearing himself to supporters.

He scored his second goal in six games for the Bluebirds in a recent 2-0 win over Bristol City, prompting questions about his future.

Kaba acknowledged his dream to play in England and said that he will focus on performing well at Cardiff for now.

However, his contract in Denmark still has one more season left to run, which could cause a problem for Cardiff if they try to sign him permanently in the off-season.

Cardiff is currently under an EFL embargo stipulation, preventing them from spending a fee in the transfer market, but they are fighting to lift this rule in the next transfer window.

Kaba’s header against Bristol City was sensational, and he admitted that he needs to step up his performance, having not played since November.

However, he is slowly getting to where he wants to be physically and believes that there is even more in the tank. Kaba hopes to help fire City to safety, and winning is always good.
