Love Is Blind: After The Altar may have concluded, but Raven Ross is not finished revealing the truth.
On an almost three-hour episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, released on Thursday, February 16, the reality star discussed all things SK with the former Bachelor lead. In the episode titled “Raven Ross Tells All,” Ross guides listeners through her time on and after Love Is Blind, her relationship with ex-boyfriend Sikiru “SK” Alagbada, how she found out that he had cheated on her, and her current love life.
In Love Is Blind Season 3, Ross and Alagbada met in the pods and became engaged, but when Ross said “I do” on their wedding day, Alagbada replied “I don’t.” In November 2022, when the Love Is Blind reunion special aired, audiences found that the couple was giving their love a second go. In Love Is Blind: After The Altar, which premiered on Netflix on February 10, 2023, viewers saw Alagbada propose to Ross AGAIN, and Ross accepted. Before the release of After The Altar, however, explosive reports that Alagbada had cheated on Ross circulated online, and Ross tearfully addressed the claims, further confirming her breakup with Alagbada in the special’s final minutes.
Ross reaffirmed to Viall that she, along with the rest of the world, learned about Alagbada’s infidelity through a series of exposing TikTok videos. She described in detail the painful scenario and what transpired between her and Alagbada in the quiet of their house as the news broke. In between frank admissions about her acceptance process and damning revelations about Alagbada, Ross revealed an explosive fact about Love Is Blind: A Love Is Blind producer called her after the allegations against Alagbada surfaced and revealed that he attempted to have their engagement scene removed from the show before it aired.
Ross added that after the third TikTok video, in which a lady claimed she and Alagbada had a vacation to Cabo with another couple in May (just a week after Ross and Alagbada enjoyed a romantic trip to New Orleans to celebrate Ross’ birthday), Alagbada refused to leave their shared apartment. “The following day, one of the producers called me and said, ‘When all of this came out, I was overjoyed. I’m really happy you two aren’t together right now,’ Ross said Viall. “My response is, ‘What are you talking about? She says, “There were so many things we believed you knew about him and were choosing to stay with him, but now we realize you had no idea what was happening.”
Ross explained that her initial impression was, “Why didn’t anyone speak up?” Then she revealed to Viall that the producer had dropped a bombshell. Ross stated, “Apparently, after we got engaged, he changed his mind, went back to producers, and began pleading with them to remove the engagement.” The reality star continued by revealing that the producer stated, “We thought you knew, and we thought you guys were breaking up because he was so insistent.”
When Viall questioned Ross for clarity, she stated, “I had no notion he didn’t want the engagement to be broadcast. A little over a month had passed since the engagement. I was unaware that he done it. And that seemed to be the final straw for me.”
Alagbada reportedly requested producers to erase the engagement sequences in October 2022, when they were filming the Love Is Blind reunion, but Ross was ignorant of his actions until his infidelity was revealed around Thanksgiving and that producer called her.
“Remember when we were filming the reunion and he disappeared? No one could find him, no one could contact him, and everyone was panicking; it turned out that he had locked himself in a vehicle with one of the producers and demanded, “You must cancel the engagement.” You must cancel the engagement,’” Ross instructed Viall. “Literally hours later [he] returns to our hotel, is acting so strangely, and we get into the largest argument; he tells me he was upset over his mother or whatever, but really it was… I was unaware until the producer called me after all of this transpired – after everything was out. Then she responded, “I assumed you were aware that he requested to end the engagement.” “How could I possibly know?”
Ross said that they were unable to determine why Alagbada wanted the section removed, but she had her own theories. She stated, “My suspicion is that the girl was already whispering in his ear that she was going to say something.” “I once brought it up to him, but I didn’t press the issue because I knew he was lying. He had no intention of telling me the truth. In fact, this was the final straw that broke the camel’s back. That was the amount of manipulation — you literally did all of that on camera, got reengaged, it was real, and then a month later — without contacting me or talking to me about it — you return and say, “Please don’t air that. Don’t broadcast it.’”
