Detective Inspector Mark Hatt stated that the alleged shooters had departed Australia two days after the attack and that police were aware of their identities.

“We recognize who they are. We know their whereabouts. And we will bring them back to face justice in due time,’ he said.

Monday’s raids resulted in the arrest of six individuals, which Inspector Hatt applauded.

He stated, “Today’s arrests are the product of a two-month investigation by detectives from the Armed Crime Squad, and I want to make it clear that this investigation is far from over.”

“I am aware that this gunshot and subsequent carjacking provoked a great deal of community worry, as is often the case when episodes of serious violence play out so publicly,” the speaker said.

I want to reassure the public that the police are doing everything possible to hold all those responsible for this incident accountable, regardless of their position.

During the botched shooting, assailants in a Mazda ambushed Mr. Abdulrahim’s car and fired three rounds into the kickboxer’s fancy vehicle.

Then, Abdulrahim escaped and drove to a neighboring police station for assistance.

The arrests occurred when police were able to trace down one of the suspected attempted killers using a pair of plastic gasoline cans he purchased on June 15 from the Epping Bunnings Warehouse.

CCTV footage of the man’s Bunnings purchase reveals him transporting the two cans to a silver Subaru Impreza WRX with two other individuals.

CCTV captured one of the suspected assassination attempt suspects going down a residential street with a full Coles grocery bag shortly after the attack.

The cans, according to detectives, were used to transport fuel meant to ignite the Mazda SUV used in the attempted assassination.

However, the jerry cans were never utilized because the Mazda was damaged in an accident while fleeing the shooting scene.

Minutes after the crash, one of the would-be assassins can be seen attempting to hide in a fast food restaurant’s trash can before exiting less than a minute later to locate another hiding place.
