SHARJAH, 14th June, 2022 (WAM) — H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the appropriation of AED27 million to reward Sharjah’s clubs for their good run and various achievements in the (2020-2021) and (2021-2022) seasons, giving these clubs motivation for the next season.
The generous reward includes the team members of 17 club of Sharjah that have won championships in the past and current seasons: Sharjah Sports Club, Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club , Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped, Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club, Mleiha Sports Club, Khorfakkan Sports and Clutural Club, Sharjah for Self-Defense Sports Club, Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club, Al Ittihad Kalba Sports Club, Al Dhaid Sports Club, Al Hamriyah Club, Sharjah Ladies Chess & Cultural Club, Khorfakkan Club For The Disabled, Al Madam Culture & Sport Club, Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, and Sharjah Women’s Sports.
Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the SSC, expressed his gratitude to H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the generous reward to motivate the clubs with achievements, stressing that these achievements would not have been possible without His Highness’s unlimited support, lighting the clubs’ fire to fight for more glorious achievements.
