AMSTERDAM, 22nd August, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, visited the Floriade Expo 2022 in the Netherlands, which is considered one of the important international exhibitions in the field of sustainability.
During her visit, Sheikha Dr. Shamma toured the UAE pavilion and said that the search for a sustainable environmental future is not an acquired right, but rather an inevitable right of every human being and every living creature. She also highlighted the UAE’s keenness to participate in various environmental events, expressing her pride and appreciation for Emirati youth present at the pavilion.
Sheikha Dr. Shamma praised the UAE’s role and efforts in exploring modern technology in the field of agriculture and innovative solutions, in addition to its keenness to identify alternative solutions and exchange experiences with innovators and research bodies, as well as presenting its experiences to ensure a better and sustainable future.
Floriade Expo 2022 is held every ten years, in which the UAE is participating for the first time.
