Gerard Pique appears to have added salt to former partner Shakira’s wounds by posting a picture of his current girlfriend on Instagram.
The Barcelona player is dating the 23-year-old Spanish model Clara Chia. Pique apparently had an affair with Clara when he was involved with the Colombian-born singer.
The former couple, who had two sons, announced their divorce in June 2022.
Shakira released her diss track BZRP Music Sessions #53 against Pique, whom she accused of adultery, earlier this month.
However, it appears that the Barcelona player is throwing his own shade at his ex by making his new girlfriend Instagram official.
In the photo, the football player embraces his younger partner, who has the same honey blonde hair as his ex.
Unsurprisingly, many Shakira supporters attacked Pique’s new girlfriend in the comments section.

Two former Barcelona players, Carles Aleá and Riqui Puig, gave the post their approval, however.
