As part of the ongoing investigation into alleged sex-trafficking rapist Andrew Tate, Romanian anti-terrorism police visited seven homes on Thursday.

The Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) confirmed the raids early on Thursday morning, while the 36-year-old influencer, who was born in the United States, remained in detention on many counts of serious sex-crime.

DIICOT stated that the morning raids were “in continuation of the investigation” into the case involving “an organized criminal group, human trafficking, and rape.”

The anti-terror unit stated that seven properties were raided “within the radius of Bucharest municipality, Ilfov counties, and Prahova.” Local police aided in the execution of the search warrants.

Two days prior to the latest raids, Tate, 36, was seen tied to his brother Tristan, 34, as they arrived in court for a futile attempt to be released.

Tate remains in detention alongside his 34-year-old brother Tristan and two so-called “Tate’s Angels” – the influencer’s reputed girlfriend Georgiana Naghel, 28, and an ex-Romanian cop, Luana Radu, 32.

All four were arrested late last month and lost their appeal to be released on Tuesday after a judge concluded they were a flight risk. Wednesday, Tate was unsuccessful in a separate attempt to recover his seized assets, including the collection of expensive cars he uses to flaunt his fortune.

Thursday, DIICOT also launched a similar operation against a gang suspected of child trafficking and prostitution. It was not immediately apparent whether it was related to the Tate case.

In that incident, DIICOT said eight homes were examined and three people — none of whom were recognized — hauled in for questioning.

This alleged operation began in 2019 and, according to DIICOT, “some of the injured traveled with members of the organized criminal group outside the country,” including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. In addition, they were transported to “the United Arab Emirates, where they engaged in prostitution for the benefit of those under investigation.”

This week, Tate also failed to recover his seized property, including his fleet of exotic sports cars.

Tate is accused of adopting the same “loverboy method” employed by the gang members to seduce and then deceive victims.

Tate, who was reared in the United Kingdom and resided partially in the United Arab Emirates, did not receive a prompt response to a message inquiring as to whether the raid was connected to him.
