Sasha Banks, a WWE superstar, underwent eye surgery and debuted her new look just weeks after being banned without pay.
The former Raw, SmackDown, and Women’s Tag Team Champion – who stormed out of Raw last month while the event was in progress with tag partner Naomi – has been suspended indefinitely, and all merchandise has been removed from the company’s web store.
Both stars have remained silent about the incident and its aftermath, but Sasha has now shown her new natural hairstyle, ditching her customary dyed locks.
The Legit Boss had Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) eye surgery this week, and the ophthalmology center that performed the procedure, Newsom Eye, has published some before and after photographs.
‘What’s up everyone, I’m Mercedes Vernado and I’m here at Newsom Eyes to receive my new eyes – and I can’t wait!’ Banks said in a video before surgery.
‘Apparently I need them because look at my sticker guys! I put them upside down! So, I can’t see – so I cannot wait to get my new eyes so I can see right!’

In WWE’s statement immediately after the incident last month, the company claimed Naomi and Sasha ‘walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out’.
The company continued: ‘They claimed they weren’t respected enough as tag team champions.
‘And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents – even though they’d had matches with those individuals in the past with no consequence.
‘Monday Night Raw is a scripted live TV show, whose characters are expected to perform the requirements of their contract. We regret we were unable to deliver, as advertised, tonight’s main event.’
Veteran commentator Michael Cole addressed the non-storyline problem live on air during a following broadcast of SmackDown, revealing the tandem had also been stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
‘Sasha Banks and Naomi let us all down,’ he declared on-air in a harsh statement. During Monday Night Raw, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions walked off the stage and out of the building.’
‘Their actions disappointed millions of WWE fans and fellow superstars,’ he added.
