SA Tourism has joined the Sunshine Tour’s list of exclusive partners and will inaugurate this partnership for the next international Challenge Tour co-sanctioned tournaments in South Africa, commencing with the Cape Town Open at Royal Cape Golf Club this week.
As the official tourism marketing division of the South African government, SA Tourism’s partnership with the Sunshine Tour and its international tournaments on the Challenge Tour and DP World Tour significantly enhances South Africa’s already extensive positioning on the global stage, with broadcasts reaching millions of homes.
The Sunshine Tour promotes the tourist goals of South African Tourism by exposing hundreds of professional golfers, caddies, and their families to the country each week, which stimulates the local economy in tournament-hosting communities.
