Russian rage increases as protesters slam Putin’s Ukraine war on his parents’ grave

A message condemning Vladimir Putin’s horrible war was left on his parents’ tomb in St. Petersburg by anti-war demonstrators in Russia.

“Dear parents!” it exclaimed. Your son is acting dishonorably!

He misses history class, gets into arguments with his peers, and makes bomb threats on the entire school. Take initiative!

The Party of the Dead, a group of Russian art activists, pulled out the stunt.

They posted the following on social media: “This morning, an anonymous group of people demanded that the parents of one youngster take disciplinary action against their son.

The note was left in St. Petersburg’s Serafimov Cemetery.

The group hoped that one day, his deceased parents would “take him to themselves.”

Maxim Evstropov, an activist, stated: “The Party opposes the exploitation of the deceased, [and is] against attempts by the surviving [people] to usurp their votes,” in a June 2022 interview with Media.az.

We are now concentrating on anti-war activities.

“What is happening in Ukraine right now is a heinous massacre,”

The advocates of [Putin’s] alleged “special operation” once again shamelessly invoke the dead to buttress their claims, this time bringing up the Second World War, which they seem anxious to reprise.

The bodies of their soldiers are simply allowed to fester in the fields while the Russian invaders bomb cemeteries like Babi Yar in Kiev.

The statement on Putin’s parents’ grave comes as mobilization has sparked a rise in anti-Ukraine war protests.
