Russian airstrike on Ukrainian rail station results in 15 deaths and 50 injuries.


Today, 31 years after the former Soviet nation declared its independence from Moscow’s rule and six months after Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of the nation, 15 people were killed and 50 others were injured by a Russian missile attack on a Ukrainian train station, according to Volodymyr Zelensky.

A passenger train and accompanying vehicles were struck by a Russian missile strike at the rural train station in Chaplyne, a village close to the important city of Dnipro, the location of heavy recent fighting between Ukrainian and Kremlin forces, the wartime president reported to the UN Security Council.

After the daughter of one of his top advisers, Alexander Dugin, was obliterated in a vehicle bombing, Zelensky warned that the “erratic” Russian dictator would wreak retribution on Ukraine and met with Boris Johnson in Kyiv on Wednesday.
