RUSA recovers the Hijacked Vehicle in Oakford

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) recovered a hijacked Nissan Hardbody this morning in Oakford, KZN (Tuesday).

On Monday afternoon, four males and a female approached the bakkie’s driver in Verulam, KZN. They wanted to hire his truck to move furniture. As they approached Oakford, KZN, they kidnapped him and demanded his vehicle.

The victim sought help from a neighbor and then phoned Tracker. His bakkie’s tracking gadget had been engaged and was sending out signals a few kilometers from where it had been hijacked. At around 00:17, Reaction Officers arrived at the scene and recovered the abandoned bakkie.

The victim was not hurt in any way….
