Ronald Bernardini faces new charges

A Long Island chiropractor, Ronald Bernardini, is facing new charges of inappropriately touching three female patients during exams.

The 65-year-old was initially arrested in October for allegedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl.

The teenager reported that Bernardini forcibly touched her breasts during an examination.

The latest charges came to light when three former patients from his Lake Ronkonkoma practice came forward, accusing him of being a pervert during appointments they had between February 2021 and last October.

Suffolk County police have arrested Bernardini after the trio contacted them.

Bernardini, who hails from Smithtown, has been charged with four counts of forcible touching. He is expected to be held overnight until his arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.

Bernardini has previously denied the allegations to News 12 and could not be reached for comment at the time of his latest arrest.

Detectives are urging anyone who thinks they could be a victim of Bernardini to contact them on 631-854-8452.
