Robyn Dixon acknowledges that the accusations that her husband, Juan Dixon, cheated on her during the COVID-19 outbreak were partially true.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star stated on Monday’s episode of her podcast with Gizelle Bryant, “Yes, Juan was an idiot and communicated with this woman on Instagram.”
Because he is bored, he needs attention, it’s a pandemic, etc.
Robyn responded to a viral TikTok video in which a woman messages influencer @georgiosays and claims she “dated [Juan] for over a year during the end of COVID.”
The woman also shared a hotel receipt bearing Juan’s name and a purported screenshot of one of his phone messages.
“They were not dating. “He did not fly her anywhere, and there is a reason why his name is on a hotel receipt,” Robyn explained, adding that she will elaborate on why his name appeared on the receipt on Patreon, the paid subscription platform for their show.
The star of “Real Housewives of Potomac” claimed she had an alternate reason for why Juan’s name appeared on a hotel bill.
Prior to taping Season 7 of the hit show, the Bravolebrity, age 43, stated she was “aware of the situation.”
She also said that the woman messaged her and Bryant about Juan, 44, so she “assumed she told the entire cast” and awaited someone to drop the bomb on her.
Robyn stated that she awaited one of her Season 7 cast members to bring up the charges.
In a recent episode of the Bravo series, Robyn’s on-and-off pal Karen Huger accused Juan of having a secret blonde girlfriend that resembled Huger.
Both Robyn and Juan refuted the claim at the time.
Robyn recalls, “I was like, ‘This is ridiculous,’ so it was kind of funny to me.” I anticipated discussing it in Season 7.
Last week, Robyn referred to Huger’s statements as “dangerous” on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” audio episode.
The reality star closed the talk by reiterating that she and Juan “had to work through” the situation and that “perhaps that’s why the wedding didn’t take place when y’all wanted it to.”
Page Six confirmed, however, that the wedding did eventually occur. The couple wed in an intimate ceremony that will be featured in the seventh season finale.
The relationship between Robyn and Juan has been a hot topic of discussion among the “RHOP” cast for years. The couple, who share kids Corey, 14, and Carter, 13, were high school sweethearts who wed for the first time in July 2005. They divorced in 2012, yet they never truly separated because they continued to live as a family.
Eventually, they reconnected, and in December 2019 Juan proposed to Robyn in front of Bravo cameras.
