Rising inflation suffocates ‘The Wife’ actor’s snack bar business

Linda Majola, star of The Wife, has shuttered his snack bar due to rising interest rates and South Africa’s deteriorating economy.

Thursday on his social media account, Majola announced the end of his business career, informing his fans that inflation had destroyed his two-year-old company.

“I bid farewell to Humble Cafe today. Small company owners have found inflation to be the most debilitating factor, and it makes me sick to my stomach to have to close my doors. This is all I’ve ever known, and my heart hurts,” he wrote.

In January of 2020, Majola founded Humble Cafe, a fast-food restaurant. He told his supporters at the time that his firm was completely operational while he was simultaneously filming episodes of The Wife. He also revealed that when he was not working in front of the camera, he enjoyed cooking.
