The slap scene in Generations is still considered one of the most iconic in soapville.

KARABO SLAPS NTOMBI IN ‘GENERATIONS’

Generations viewers still remember (Karabo Moroka) Connie Fergusons’ slap scene with Ntombi two decades later.

The show (now dubbed Generations: The Legacy) is still a fan-favourite soapie as it created many memorable moments such as Ntombi and Karabo’s rivalry, Kenneth Mashaba, and Sibusiso Dhlomo’s conflicts.

The Queen’s casting director Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson – who is Connie Ferguson’s daughter recently shared a snippet of her mother’s character and Ntombi getting into a fight in the show’s early 2000s.

The video which has often trended on Twitter over the years, also went viral on Tik To a few weeks ago with soapie fans applauding the actresses for making the slapping seem real.
