Pule Mmodi reacts to the Bafana Bafana call-up


Golden Arrows attacking midfielder Pule Mmodi has reacted to his call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad that will play two friendlies later this month.

Hugo Broos’ charges assembled for camp on Monday, 19 September to begin preparations in Johannesburg where they’ll host both clashes against Sierra Leone and Botswana on 24 September and 27 September, respectively, at the FNB Stadium.

Mmodi’s call-up came as no surprise as he has scored in four consecutive games in the DStv Premiership and considering his fine all-round form.

MMODI ON HIS BAFANA BAFANA CALL-UP

“I think the national team coach can see when one is working hard, so it’s about scoring and keep on working hard,” Mmodi told media at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

With regards to his form, Mmodi added: “I’ve been working hard since the beginning of the season and [there] is a great relationship [between] me and coaches.”

“I’m very happy because they are giving me a chance to play.”
