Polokwane hosts the Soweto Giants’ 53rd birthday celebrations

As Amakhosi’s birthday celebrations continue, Kaizer Chiefs fans in Polokwane and the rest of Limpopo should expect a huge party.

This month, Chiefs turned 53, and the celebrations are ongoing.

Chiefs, who have shifted their home matches to the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, will welcome some of South Africa’s finest musicians and performers to entertain fans. Additionally, there will be prizes to be won.

On Saturday, Chiefs will welcome Royal AM, a KwaZulu-Natal team with no respect for Amakhosi on the field. Polokwane, where Chiefs have a large fan base, will be the ideal location for the Glamour Boys to flip the script and defeat Shauwn Mkhize’s team.

Tickets for the weekend game and two additional league matches that Chiefs will host in Polokwane are available for R60 at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers locations nation-wide.

Additionally, Amakhosi clarified rumors regarding the transfer of Teenage Hadebe.

“According to initial reports, Hadebe signed the Turkey club as a free agent. Nonetheless, it was discovered that the Arthur Zwane-coached team did sell him, although for an undisclosed amount,” according to certain media reports.

In a statement published on its website, Chiefs explained, “The club firmly rejects the reports as inaccurate and deceptive. “Chiefs have met all requirements for the transfer of Hadebe.”
