Politics and lies makes Law Roach take an early bow from celebrity styling

Celebrity stylist Law Roach, who has worked with high-profile clients such as Zendaya, Megan thee Stallion, and Celine Dion, announced his retirement from the fashion industry in a dramatic Instagram post.

In the post, Roach thanked his supporters and clients, stating that if the fashion industry were solely about clothing, he would continue to work in it for the rest of his life.

However, he revealed that the “politics, the lies, and false narratives” had caused him to leave.

Roach did not elaborate on the specific incidents that led to his decision to retire.

However, many Twitter users pointed to a recent video from the Louis Vuitton fashion show where Zendaya took the last seat in the front row, leaving Roach disgruntled as he lost his spot next to her.

Despite the unclear reason for his retirement, Roach’s fans and colleagues have flooded his comment section, begging him to reconsider his decision or reveal that it was a prank.

Some of his celebrity clients, including Addison Rae and Lisa Rinna, expressed their shock and disappointment at the news, while British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enniful, reassured Roach that he would always have a place at the magazine.

Roach, who also appears as a judge on HBO Max’s “Legendary,” recently styled several stars for high-profile events, including the NAACP Image Awards and the Vanity Fair Oscars 2023 party.

Representatives for Roach have not yet commented on his retirement announcement.
