Police searching for driver that left teenager in a critical condition after a hit and run in Eatons Hill

Police in Queensland are asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a hit-and-run incident that left a teenager critically injured. The incident occurred at about midnight on Friday when an 18-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing South Pine Road in Eatons Hill.

The vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene after hitting the teenager. Members of the public found the injured pedestrian and called emergency services, who transported him to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Initial investigations have revealed that the vehicle involved in the hit and run is believed to be a black Kia Rio, which is missing a left side mirror.

Queensland Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward and are also urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to contact the authorities. The investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing.
