Police release picture of man who allegedly attacked a cyclist in a confrontation in Dorset

Police have made public a picture of a guy who is suspected of attacking a cyclist in a fight in Dorset.

According to Poole Police, the offender, who was apprehended nicely attired in a shirt and pants, became enraged at the victim for riding his bike on the sidewalk in Parkstone.

The guy, who is said to be in his 60s, is accused of pushing the rider into a wall, picking up his bike, and then throwing it into the road on Ashley Road next to Nuudle Bar.

The victim, who is in his 20s, is shown being forcefully approached by the culprit in a police image that has been released.

At the time of the event, the suspect was wearing a blue open-neck shirt and navy-blue pants.

The cyclist had a shoulder injury, according to the police, but was not in need of medical attention.

“I have been carrying out several inquiries into this event so far and am now in a position to provide a photograph of a man I would like to identify,” said Adam Cleaver, a spokesman for Poole Police.
