Thursday, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, responded to Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval’s “embarrassing” remarks.
Pureval, who declared in an official city proclamation that Patrick Mahomes has never defeated Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, curiously asked Burrow to take a paternity test to prove whether he is Patrick’s biological father.
Brittany responded to the mayor’s message with, “Weak and embarrassing.”
The post has been seen over 2.2 million times as of early Saturday morning, one day prior to Patrick’s Chiefs and Burrow’s Bengals’ AFC championship rematch.

In reference to Brittany’s prior behavior during the Chiefs’ dramatic AFC Divisional Round victory against the Bills in 2022, another Twitter user stated, “Most Bengal fans have never even tasted champagne and could never afford it.”
Following intense scrutiny, Pureval made an apology to Bengals supporters.
Pureval stated, “My competitive nature and affection for Cincinnati got the best of me.” “My bad. Maintaining hunger and humility. See you Sunday. Who Dey baby!”
The Chiefs are 2-2 in their last four conference championship games and are hosting their sixth consecutive AFC championship game.
