Pastor of the House on The Rock, Abuja Church in Nigeria was detained for carrying an AK-47 during the February 12 service.
According to his congregation, Pastor Uche Aigbe preached about fighting the good fight with spiritual weapons while carrying an unloaded rifle to illustrate his message.
The House on the Rock stated in a statement that Pastor Uche has been a leader since 1999 and has always demonstrated exceptional leadership.
“Even with the finest intentions, he realizes that carrying a pistol to convey his message was unwise and regrettable. Pastor Uche has totally acknowledged the gravity of his conduct and apologized for them,” House on the Rock said.
In addition, the church stated that it is completely cooperating with police as they investigate the situation.
According to the poster’s title, Pastor MS Budeli’s Worship Conference in December 2022 startled many with its bizarre and exorbitant prayer service fees.
