Police say a woman was sexually attacked by a man who followed her into a Park Slope building.

Wednesday about 11 p.m., the suspect followed the 29-year-old victim inside a residential building on 3rd Avenue and 8th Street, according to police.

Once inside, the offender approached her from behind, reached under her skirt, and sexually assaulted her, according to the NYPD.

Police said the offender is a male in his 30s, roughly 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium complexion, medium build, and short black hair. He was last spotted wearing a blue hooded jacket, black jeans, and white sneakers.

The attacker fled. The victim was treated and released from Kings County Hospital. The Special Victims Unit of the NYPD is investigating.

Wednesday around 11 p.m., the suspect followed his victim inside a residential building near the intersection of Third Avenue and Eighth Street.

Saturday, police released security footage and a photograph of the suspect taken prior to the incident in front of 239 9th St., police said.
