On ‘Scandal!’, Otto Nobela was recruited to turn the tables

It appears that Mdala’s days as a bully are gone with the entrance of Otto Nobela, the newest addition to Scandal!, who is determined to assert his dominance.

Nobela, who portrays infamous gangster Pablo, is an old buddy of Mdala and Nhlamulo. Pablo desires a reunion with his former friends regardless of whether or not they are on good terms.

Nobela told Sunday World that he has always been inspired by Israel Matseke-Zulu, who frequently portrays a thug on television.

“I wanted to follow in his footsteps, but I believe that many performers are vying for the position of the hero. “I decided to pursue villain roles and began researching Pablo Escobar, a Colombian drug lord who was killed in December 1993.”

In high school, the 29-year-old fell in love with acting through a female acquaintance on whom he had a crush. At the time, Nobela had no idea what a rehearsal was, despite the fact that his friend frequently informed him of it.

After she took him to one of the rehearsals, he became captivated by acting and fell in love with it.

“When I arrived, I discovered a group of men involved in a community-based production. “I was convinced by their actions,” stated Nobela.

Nobela attended multiple workshops to improve his trade before Duma Ndlovu recognized him and offered him the chance to attend some of his workshops.

“I then found myself in the theater, where I participated in another two-year training program. I acquired the most of my training at the South African State Theatre. “Eventually, I got lucky and was cast in the film Matwetwe,” he explained.

In addition to starring in Queen Sono, The Brave Ones, Letters of hope, and Surviving Gaza, Nobela has also appeared in Queen Sono, The Brave Ones, and Letters of hope.
