NYPD officers dance with West Indian Day performance

At the West Indian Day celebration in Brooklyn, an NYPD officer was seen engaging in an extremely suggestive dance with a spectator, but he will not be disciplined.

In an instant, a male police officer who has not been recognised was seen grinding with a dancer in scanty attire during the parade on Monday.

Another officer was also seen enjoying the parade this year as a girl grinded her hips on him

In the first scene of the video, the young cop is shown sitting on the ground with the lady seated on his lap as they embrace.

The lady, who was just wearing a bra, underpants, and jewellery with a Caribbean theme, started to wiggle her hips suggestively as they stood up, which caused the officer to take her up.

The young male eventually gets into it and is seen swinging his legs back and forth while hugging the girl.

Lean in, lean in! and cheers from the audience can be heard as the two perform.

The New York Post received confirmation from a police official that the video was taken during this year’s march and that the officer would not be punished for letting his guard down while on duty.

Another video on TikTok has a different lady gently grinding her hips in circles while a police officer wildly raises an arm in celebration. This woman is wearing white crop top and denim shorts.

This is not the first time a police officer has engaged in sexual activity with a spectator in the West Indian Day procession.

Videos of police doing such dances have surfaced from 2011 and 2019.

When defending his officers’ behaviour in 2011, then-Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said that it was common for police enforcement to participate in the celebrations.

According to NYC Mayor Eric Adams, the West Indian Day Parade was originally observed after they were freed from slavery.

In a jubilant statement, Adams said, “The islands have given New York City so much pleasure, beauty, and enhanced our city for the better.”

After they were freed from slavery, the West Indian Day Parade (shown) was first observed.
