The annual Gift Fair and THIS IS ART, two beloved lifestyle events of the holiday season, will return to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on November 26th and 27th, 2022.
You can do all your holiday shopping at the Gift Fair, and on the same day, you can visit THIS IS ART, where a variety of local artists’ works will be on exhibit and for sale.
In its third year, the Gift Fair features a vast array of local entrepreneurs presenting and selling presents, arts and crafts, books and games, health and beauty, jewelry and stationery, homeware, and much more. In its second year, THIS IS ART aims to promote local and upcoming artists and their work, which ranges from conceptual to textile art, ceramics to drawings, photography to printmaking, sculpture to painting, and so on.
Artists are supplied with room to set up mini-exhibitions, pop-up art studios, and engaging seminars, which offer art fans, gallerists, and purchasers a unique glimpse into the creative process as well as the possibility to commission works from rising artists.
Both exhibitions are distinctive in that they give smaller local entrepreneurs and artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their wares in a highly professional, aesthetically pleasing, and well-known venue while exposing themselves to a big audience. You may meet and support local entrepreneurs and artists at both events.
