Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) producers wanted Zandie Khumalo to be a part of the reality series, despite the fact that we do not yet know when the third season will premiere or who the new wealthy wives will be.
The Ikhwela singer recently gained popularity for her interview on the Senzo Meyiwa murder case. On Tuesday, July 26, she revealed on Instagram that she had turned down a RHOD offer.
Zandie’s sister Kelly Khumalo already shares details about herself on her Showmax original series, Life With Kelly Khumalo, so it goes without saying that Zandie would be more pleased to see her on their screens.
She informed Zandies’s followers that they would have to wait for a show featuring gorgeous Zulu spouses, something akin to “Amakhosikazi Amahle AkwaZulu.”
Zandie disclosed that she turned down the RHOD team’s offer to join the cast a few weeks ago.
She wrote, “If there’s anyone out there who ever wants to shoot a TV show called “Amakhosikazi Amahle AkwaZulu” count me in, I would even do that one for free. A few weeks ago I had to turn down a Real Housewives of Durban offer for my own reasons as well as the fact that I’m not a housewife and I don’t even stay in Durban so I don’t pay rates there.
Similar to Zandie, Phumla M reportedly declined an invitation to join the cast of RHOD.
Phumla M is purportedly Hlubi Nkosi’s girlfriend, Phumla London’s fiancée, and the mother of their child. In May, the newspaper revealed that Londie and Phumla were both expecting Hlubi’s children at the same time.
In addition, amid the adultery claims, Londie London is said to have left the house she shared with Hlubi.
On the Real Housewives of Durban reunion, which aired on Showmax on May 6, the singer revealed she was expecting her second child.
Her Instagram posts indicate that her baby was born this week. She and Hlubi are parents to a kid who is one years old.
Viewers would have seen a lot more drama had Londie already been married to someone on the show, as she was in the second season.
