Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze has voiced his concern about the increasing number of people who reach out to him through direct messages (DMs) asking for financial assistance.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the comedic actor lamented that his DMs had become akin to a commercial bank.
Chinedu revealed that he has received numerous messages from individuals seeking monetary support to start businesses or help with their sick mothers.
He cited examples of someone asking for $35,000 and another person requesting $12,000.
The actor emphasized that these requests are not limited to Nigerians alone, urging social media users to recognize that celebrities also have their own financial obligations and responsibilities.
