The expensive sweater costs £15 more than the ordinary men’s and women’s shirt and £25 less than the premium Dri-FIT ADV version, which costs a whopping £114.95.

Mason Mount of Chelsea modeled the cardigan in a tweet that soon received over 15,000 likes.

However, he appeared to disapprove of the design in a promotional film, stating “Nay, nah” when shown the sweater.

Mount tweeted a photo of himself wearing the controversial cardigan yesterday.

Mount added, ‘It is distinct. I could imagine Chilly [teammate of England and Chelsea Ben Chilwell] wearing that.

“I’m okay with a cardigan. ‘I may have to bring this back with me.’

Some Twitter users referred to the cardigan as a “surprise,” while another stated, “I would wear that every day.”

The American sports giant was ordered to ‘hang its head in shame’ after releasing a ‘terrible’ England home kit before of the World Cup in November.

The famous post was accompanied by advertising graphics for Nike Three Lions.

Last week, Phil Foden wore a retro-inspired red away kit that was more popular with fans.

Fans of the Three Lions deemed the leaked home shirt design to be “shocking,” taking issue with the use of blue on the shoulders and shorts.

One social media user stated, “When Kane hoists the trophy, he had better be wearing the red kit and not that other abomination.”

Another wrote, “Both England uniforms are awful.” Cannot think that Harry Kane will win the World Cup while wearing one of those monstrosities.

Nike states that the sweater’s emphasis on “performance and style” will “keep you looking terrific while you represent your favorite national team.”

The Three Lions will begin their World Cup campaign on November 21 against Iran, before facing the United States four days later and Wales on November 29.

They must regain their composure after losing 1-0 to Italy in a rematch of the Euros final at Milan’s San Siro last night.

Gareth Southgate defended his players after the dismal performance, which resulted in the Three Lions’ relegation to the Nations League’s second division.

Joe Cole, a sports commentator, stated that Gareth Southgate must find a method to motivate this team within the next week.
