Zadok, a recent progeny of Nigerian Idol, is gradually becoming a household name and gaining ground in the music industry. Having won hearts and placed second in the 2022 version of the reality television show, Zadok has struck the ground running, travelling, creating songs, performing at the 2020 Felabration, and serving as the opening act for Brydo’s Order Concert.
To showcase his musical versatility and skill, the vocal dynamo emerges with a fantastic extended play titled “Preacher of Love,” a moniker he earned while delivering love-fueled thunderous performances week after week on Nigeria Idol.
The song A&Red by Ogaga “Preacher of Love” by “Ogagus” Sakpaide and primarily produced by DeeYasso is an arresting set about Zadok’s gospel of love. Opening with a beautiful piano on “You,” the song soon transitions into a dance anthem, the pop ear-candy “Aye,” and the highlife/folk fan favorite “Baby Mi,” before concluding with a power R&B ballad confirming that his love runs like a river.
