In the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Afif, Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, and His Excellency Sylvestre Radegonde, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Seychelles, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and his accompanying delegation, met with His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles.
The Honorable Greetings and best wishes were sent to His Excellency on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Seychelles by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
For his part, His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan sent Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan his greetings to His Highnesses Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as well as his best wishes for the government and people of the UAE for further progress and success.
His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan also expressed his gratitude to the UAE for attending the ceremonies of his nation’s National Day, highlighting the close ties and fruitful cooperation between the two nations on all fronts.
Thanking His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan for the invitation to take part in the National Day celebrations, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan emphasized that the relations between the UAE and Seychelles are constantly expanding and that there are numerous opportunities to advance them for the mutual benefit of both nations.
The two sides talked about measures to strengthen their relationship in a number of areas of shared interest as well as the distinguished bilateral connections between the UAE and Seychelles during the meeting.
